The Traditional "Front" View of Stonehenge as a Photo with Stone Drawing IllustrationFor years, we ourselves have used our own made photograph of what might be called the traditional "Front" View of Stonehenge, to which we usually added our illustration of the Stonehenge sarsens and stones, which assumed a pure circular pattern to the sarsen stones of the inner henge. See below -- you may have to pull the image screen portion down to see the full photograph including the explanatory illustration: Stonehenge Photograph and Illustration copyright © 2005 by Andis KaulinsWe now know from the previous postings that the above circular view is likely not entirely correct, even though we always focused on what turns out to be the Main Axis. Moreover, we now know that the Main Axis is more to the right than what our photograph took to be the main axis line eleven years ago. Photographs and proofs of various kinds follow. Enjoy!
